What are you goals for your presidency this year?
With COVID and the majority of the school year being online, I’m hoping to help spread positivity and school spirit even while away from school. Now more then ever it’s important that everyone knows they’re not alone. Virtual schooling might not be the ideal school year for any of us, but I want to help show that it doesn’t have to be terrible.
How do you feel about your leadership team?
I love my leadership team. They’re all very hard working people, not just getting done what needs to get done, but doing it to their best ability. And they’re all very creative, always finding new ways to do something and creating something special that everyone can enjoy.
What kind of music do you like listening too?
I love listening to all types of music in any language, I don’t really have a specific genre I like. But I do love artists like Lorde and Lana Del Rey, The Neighbourhood and Sufjan Stevens.
Who are your inspirations?
Definitely my friends. They inspire me everyday and I hope I can do the same for them.
What is your biggest fear?
I have a lot of fears but I would say flies. I hate flies so much. Imagine being stuck in a room filled with them... So gross
What motivates you to work hard?
My best friend. We motivate each other every day to continue working but not too hard so we don’t burn ourselves out. Without him, I probably wouldn’t get anything done.
How would your friends describe you?
I asked my best friend Milo to describe me in 4 words and he replied with “ambitious, committed, strong, and intelligent.” With a lot of emojis thrown between.
What makes you laugh the most?
The stupidest things can make me laugh. It just takes the right video to show up on my FYP at the right time to have me dying.
What is one thing you are really bad at?
Drawing. I wish I could draw but I can’t for the life of me. Those who can draw and are good at art, I see them as the best of people.
What is one thing you are really good at?
Creative writing, hopefully at least. I love to write stories and I’m not TERRIBLE at it.
What shows are you binge-watching?
I am OBSESSED with Criminal Minds right now. I’ve been binge-watching it all of Quarantine every night before I go to bed. Not the best idea all the time to watch it so late at night but I always keep one light on.
What is your favorite season?
Autumn 1000%. I am currently buying a lot of cardigans and sweaters to have ready for the cooler season.
Who are some of your favorite teachers?
My math and theater teacher 100%.
What has been your favorite subject in school?
English and theater. I love to read and analyze books, I’m a huge reader and English is a great place for me to put my skills to use. And I love acting and having theater as a creative outlet. Nothing can beat the rush one feels after a show.
