Legacies

The Kern High School District is rich with many legacies and traditions. The Kern High Network is dedicated to honoring those traditions through spotlighting a school's Hall of Fame, showcasing vintage photos, or by providing video and film of classic games. A lot of the vintage pictures come from Social Studies teacher Ken Hooper and his Bakersfield High School Archiving Department. The vintage film was gifted to the KHSD from Brighthouse Networks, Ned Permenter, Rick Van Horne, and various archiving departments at our school sites.

Have any vintage KHSD related photos or film that you would like to showcase on the Kern High Network? If so, please contact Javier Valdes, Coordinator of Public Information for the Kern High School District at (661) 827-3367 or [email protected]
