What are you goals for your presidency this year?

My main goals for this year is to help lead in the gradual development of a unified student body, that prizes itself on loving others well and valuing human relationships. With my position, I want to to glorify God and not myself, allowing people to feel the love and value that comes from the Lord. As a society, we are always in need of better understanding, specifically with valuing and respecting other cultures within our world!

How do you feel about your leadership team?

I feel very confident with the amazing, diverse array of student leaders that all bring something different to the table when it comes to positively contributing to our team and what we bring forth to the student body. Our team really values one another and I believe that manifests into our quality of work!

What kind of music do you like listening too?

I am an odd ball, with great admiration for almost EVERY genre of music!! I have a wide range, all the way from old country hits to modern day folk music!

Who are your inspirations?

My grandmother and Sadie Robertson are my two biggest inspirations.

What is your biggest fear?

My biggest fear has always been failing, but recently I have been able to erase myself from that narrative! Failing is a crucial component to true growth!

What motivates you to work hard?

The Lord is my motivation to do the absolute best I can in everything that I do. However, I have always been determined since I was little, with the help of my mother who has always challenged me in the best ways!

How would your friends describe you?

My friends would describe me as bubbly, energetic, sweet, and compassionate.

What makes you laugh the most?

Usually people's laughs are always what make me laugh the most. They always make me laugh more than the joke itself!

What is one thing you are really bad at?

I have absolutely terrible balance and I cannot juggle for the life of me!

What is one thing you are really good at?

Singing has always been something that I am passionate about, especially being a little girl that watched her dad sing all day every day! Singing has always been a cherished connection that I have with my dad, and it's something that I never want to stop pursuing.

What shows are you binge-watching?

I am currently binge-watching Next in Fashion, The Office, New Girl, Skin Wars, and the Great British Baking Show.

What is your favorite season?

Winter is hands down my favorite time year because of the weather, sweatshirts, holidays, and just the overall feeling you get right when December hits. There is this joy that is always experienced when you are spending time with family, drinking hot chocolate and enjoying the warmth of a fireplace.

Who are some of your favorite teachers?

All the way since freshman year, I have thoroughly enjoyed my yearbook/english teacher, Mr. Pete Tittl, who has taught me more than I could ever imagine about the real world and how faith is intertwined in that. I have always cherished our conversations about life, as well as the importance of deadlines that he has always valued! DEADLINES RULE! Secondly, my Spanish teacher Senora Ward has made an INCREDIBLE mark on my life, as she taught me the value of my worth and how being a strong, independent woman is beautiful. She has also taught me the value of community and what that looks like for our broken world, that always needs a whole more love! Lastly, my leadership teacher, Mrs. Slayton, has exemplified the woman that I have always desired to be, especially when it comes to faith and how that can confidently be someone's identity in a secular world.

What has been your favorite subject in school?

Since I was a little girl, whenever I was asked this question I have answered "ALL SUBJECTS", because of my genuine love for learning and better understanding about how the world works. However, as I have gotten older my love for english has always exceeded that of other subjects because of my interest in creative writing. I have always enjoyed journaling and documenting my life on physical paper because there is something so timeless about it!
