What are your goals for your presidency this year?
Even though this year is not what we all thought it would be, it is so important to make the most of the situation. It is one of my goals to implement fun and interactive activities for our students and faculty during this time to bring some light to the situation!
How do you feel about your leadership team?
Everyone is very collaborative and it is never a dull moment with them! We’ve got such a bright, dedicated, and enthusiastic team that truly is a family.
What kind of music do you like listening to?
I love listening to R&B music and of course the 80’s hits! I just love the fun and energetic vibes!
Who are your inspirations?
My inspirations are definitely my mom and brother! They’re both incredibly hardworking individuals who have such big hearts. They support me endlessly and never fail to make me smile.
What is your biggest fear?
My biggest fear is artificial intelligence taking over rather than just assisting!
What motivates you to work hard?
I always work hard to work towards achieving a bright future for myself and for my family. I want to be in a position to have the time and finances to help others as well. When you put energy towards things you are passionate about, you can truly make a difference. That goes for all aspects of life such as academics, social life, and emotional well-being.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends always say that I am very bubbly, inclusive, kind, and a social butterfly!
What makes you laugh the most?
My mom absolutely makes me laugh the most! Once you get to know her, she has an effortless sense of humor that makes you laugh until you have tears coming from your eyes!
What is one thing you are really bad at?
I am absolutely horrible at rollerblading! I’ve never gone ice skating before, but I will more than likely fall within the first few seconds as well. But regardless, rollerblading is super fun!
What is one thing you are really good at?
I am really good at being creative! Everything I do, I do it with constant brainstorming. One of my favorite ways to be creative is by transforming myself into different iconic characters such as the Grinch and Joker through makeup!
What shows are you binge-watching?
I am a sucker for action and horror movies! I have been binging The Haunting of Hill House, In The Dark, and Umbrella Academy! If you know any good ones, send them my way!
What is your favorite season?
I absolutely love spring! I love all the colors, flowers, and sunshine all around! So much happiness in the springtime!
Who are some of your favorite teachers?
Some of my favorite teachers are Mrs. Cornford, Mrs. Adams, and Mr. Reller in no particular order! They just go above and beyond through not only teaching us academics, but also through building real connections with their students and truly caring and guiding us all! All my teachers have impacted my life one way or another and have taught me so much! There are so many amazing teachers I love that if I named them all, we would honestly be here forever!
What has been your favorite subject in school?
My favorite subject in school has definitely been science. More specifically, biology! I think it is really interesting to understand how organisms function.
